Kelsey Grammer: Completely Delusional or Completely Irresponsible?

According to SFGate.com, Kelsey Grammer did the unthinkable. Grammer, a talented 5 time emmy award winning actor who you might recognize from Fraiser or Cheers, took his 3 month old daughter with him to a Halloween Party at the famous Playboy Mansion. Grammer and his new wife Kayte welcomed their baby daughter, Faith, in August. Kayte was originally pregnant with twins, but unfortanutely one died before birth. You would think that with a tough pregnancy and the arrival of a precious baby girl that these two parents would want to keep Faith out of harms way, but that might not be the case.

According to guests at the party, Faith was asleep in a bassinet while her parents partied until 3am. The music was blarring, alchohol was flowing, and I’m sure a lot of innapropriate things were going on. This is the Playboy mansion we’re talking about here. It is in no way shape or form meant for a child, let alone a newborn baby.

This presence of this baby did not sit well with mnay of the part goers as well. Playboy model Melissa May was none too please with Grammer and his wife’s shennanigans. May wrote on her twitter page,

“Why the f— does Kelsey Grammer have a newborn baby at the Mansion party!?!?!?”

Not only were other guests displeased but a lot of grammers fans and other actors in Hollywood. Grammer and his wife have recieved a lot of harsh words since the party. However, according to Grammer, he believes that bringing his child to this party was completely harmless. According to TMZ,

“A source close to Kelsey tells us … the actor doesn’t feel he did anything wrong … insisting Faith was safely cared for during the party and was never in harm’s way.”

That is purely ignorance at its finest. The Playboy mansion is no place for a baby. If the couple was having trouble finding a sitter for faith, couldn’t they have just been mature enough to not attend the party? Is a party more important to them then their own daughter’s saftety and health?

This was not only a completely ignorant thing to do, but also completely stupid on Grammer’s part. He is curtently in a custody battle with his ex-wife, Cammile, over their two children. This could really hurt his chances in that case. This incident could also shed a negative light on his career as well.
